New Melville Spring Congress

On Sunday 19th May New Melville Bridge Club will be holding their annual one-day F2F congress at the club. This congress is open to all.

The Congress starts at 1:00 pm with a 24 board pairs tournament followed at 5:00 pm by a Swiss Teams tournament comprising four matches of six boards per match.

There will be a break of about an hour between the two sessions. We expect to finish the congress no later than 8:30 pm

♥ Cash prizes♥ and ♦ enhanced Master Points♦ will be available as this congress will be open to non-members as well as members.

The entry fee for the pairs is £16 per pair.

The entry fee for the teams is £32 per team.

You can play just in the pairs, just in the teams or both.

A meal will also be on offer at £15 per head which must be ordered and paid for in advance by each player.

The main course choices are: Steak and Ale Pie or Chicken and Chorizo Paella or Vegetable Curry with Naan and Rice.

The desert choices are: Passion Fruit Cheese Cake or Fresh Fruit Salad.

Need to cancel?

If you no longer wish to play in an event, you can use the Cancellation Link which is included in your emailed entry receipt, so hang on to that.

If you need to change your lineup, please contact the convener directly (as shown on the event details page). You could also cancel and re-enter.

General Notes

Please take care when entering your email address - we use this to contact you about the event. You may if you wish add your contact telephone number - if you are adding your name to an event waiting list, please do this so we can get in touch as soon as a space becomes available.

Players should endeavour to arrive at the venue or be in position online at least 15 minutes before the start of the event – anyone unable to attend should make every effort to inform the Convener.

BBO Competitions

For most BBO events you simply register in BBO as usual, making sure you allow enough time. You must also register your BBO user name in MEMPAD or you won't be able to play.

Payment is separate and unaffected - if you have already paid just tick the "I have paid" box before submitting (do not try to pay twice!). The ReCAPTCHA module protects us from automated spam but very occasionally finds something to complain about in a normal entry.
