(* denotes Bronze only event)

The Swiss Pairs is a Red Pointed event, and is one of several events like this run in the seven Scottish Districts. It was first run in 2006.

The Swiss Pairs is open to all players. It was originally scheduled to coincide with a Camrose International Trial so prospective and current international players will be expected not to play in the event (though they are not specifically excluded). More recently it coincides with a National League weekend, for similar reasons.

The Carlton will be open from 11.30, serving soup and sandwiches and there will also be a break later in the afternoon when hot food will be available.

There will be generous prizes for Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.
