Results

Congratulations to Tony Houghton and Nicola Corbyn, who won the Bronze Pairs Challenge at the Carlton on 2nd February.

Runners up were Fiona Davies and Clare Douglas.

Top Club Masters were Terry & Joanne Lamb.

Top Local Masters were Roger Rist and Margaret Tait (10th overall).

Top District Masters were Kate Aggett and Norma Gray.

Top Masters were Stewart Morris and Rose Simpson (3rd overall).

Top of the Beginners section were Neil and Aiden Woodley.

Runners up were Jo Walker and Teresa Stephenson.

Congratulations to Tom Bagnall and Malgorzata Rozman, winners of the National Thea Teale Bronze Pairs event - results are at eCats.

David and Shona Anderson were runners up, with Sarinder Singh and Jim Mowat sixth.

Mary Stewart wins the Bronze 1 & 2 Individual

Congratulations to Mary Stewart who with 65% won the East District Individual competition for Bronze 1 & 2 players at the Melville on 16th September.

Kairen Bergius was runner up on 61.9%, with Rod Masson third on 60.48%.

Well done to Judith Smeaton, who was the highest placed Novice player with 53.1%.

Summer Leagues

After a great summer with 27 Bronze matches, the winners of the Novice Teams was Ruff Dummies closely followed by New Tricks, and in the Summer Teams Warriston won with Grange just one amp behind. Ruff Dummies 2018
