The FAIE Rosebowl Individual was held at the Melville on Sunday 9th October. The East District Committee decided to combine the FAIE this year with the qualifying round for the National Individual Tournaments
The Harrison Trophy, Shenkin Trophy for Masters and Senior Masters and Fairlie Trophy for up to and including District Master.

The Faie Rosebowl is the East District Individual Championship, played as a straight final. No heats are played beforehand.
This tournament uses a set system to minimise discussions at the start of every round.
There are no particular entrance qualification requirements.
Please consult the "Guidelines for Running East District Events", and forward any necessary amendments for future reference to the Committee.
Numbers are critical as an event with “4N-1” players is impossible to run (where N is the Number of tables). The ideal number for the competition is 25. It is essential to have reserves in attendance to cater for players not turning up or turning up without entering.
This competition alternates between the Carlton and the Melville in alternate years.
