There are also Carlton tournaments aimed at less experienced players.

Please note that the premises are shared with a Bowling Club, and that there is no parking for bridge players in the Bowling Club’s Car Park, though over the winter the marked spaces 7-13 may be used, as they are loaned to the Bridge Centre. Spaces 1-6 are marked for the use of the Bowling Club only and may NEVER be used by people attending the Bridge Club. There is ample on-street parking.

Handicapped Pairs tournament, every Wednesday from 16th May (except AGM - 6th June) throughout the summer. Visitors welcome, paying same Table Money as members.

Visitors welcome without restriction, every Saturday in June, July and August. Again, visitors Table Money is the same as for members.

Club Nights

We play Duplicate Bridge in very comfortable surroundings at the Tusitala Restaurant in South Edinburgh every Tuesday between September and April. We are not able to cater for beginners, but we offer a particular welcome to players who are familiar with Rubber Bridge and would like to see if Duplicate is for them. Do contact us, and come along to try us out without commitment.

Club Nights: Tuesday & Thursday - all year. Arrive 6.30pm for start at 6.45pm. Play ends just before 10pm.

Visitors welcome. All abilities.

Summer Bridge is normally Aggregate Pairs on Tuesday. Open Jackpot Match Pointed Pairs every Thursday at 7p.m. as from the 10th of May at the Burgh Chambers - All welcome.

Winter programme runs from September - April. Includes MP Pairs (1st Thursday of each month), Seeded Teams of Four(Last Thursday of each month) and Aggregate Pairs (As per programme)

The club generally have heats of all Simultaneous Pairs and Qualifying rounds of District and National Events.

We meet on Monday evenings from September to April at the Church Hall, Elcho Road, Longniddry.

Leagues: The club has two teams, which play in the SBU East of Scotland leagues.

Social: From May to August the club runs a Chicago teams of four Summer League (played in members' homes, with a strong emphasis on the social aspect of bridge)
